Explanation of Classes
Detailed information about specific ages groups, various levels and the syllabus we teach can be found in our enrolment handbook.

Ballet
This class offers a strong focus on perfecting the challenging technique of Classical Ballet in an enjoyable, positive and encouraging environment.

Contemporary
Contemporary (similar to modern) dance is often described loosely as somewhere between Ballet and Jazz in its style. This class aims to allow students to experience the risk, challenge and fun of this growingly popular dance form.

Jazz
Our Jazz classes are very versatile. You will experiencing a variety of Jazz styles from Musical Theatre Jazz to Jazz funk and Lyrical. Dancers will learn the skill required to dance in this popular style of dance to exercises set to music with clean themes and lyrics. Careful attention is given to costume and movement choices while remaining relevant and fun for the students.

ToddlerTime
A class filled with fun, creativity and dramatised illustrations. An introduction to dance for ages 3-5.

CreativeKids
A parent and child dance class (for 1 and 2 year olds) filled with their favorite songs and actions. As well as creativity and props to inspire the young minds imagination.

Fun N Dance
An introduction to Ballet and Jazz for Kindy and Pre-primary aged kids (5 and 6 year olds/before year 1 at school) that involves creativity, fun, exploration of movement and the freedom to be who they are.

Worship Dance
Sacred Space: This is a an instructional and explorative worship class designed for the slightly more mature age groups 30, 40, 50, 60+ your welcome! You can be a total beginner or have danced for years. The instructor is passionate about the power of movement as praise and worship and as a personal expression before God. Worship ‘tools’ will be incorporated into this class as well as other resources to develop your creativity and broaden your experience of how we can connect with God through movement and dance. Non trained and trained dancers welcome. Come Join the Dance: Similar to the above but a group dance is taught as an expression of praise.

Worship Dance for adults with disability
Sacred Space: This is a time to dance and explore movement in a safe and loving environment with Dance/Movement Therapist Diane Hatch. Clients must be able to move, follow simple instructions assisted or unassisted. It will be aimed at Christians but all are welcome.

Hip Hop and Street
These popular forms of dance are most commonly used on the music video clips and use all the latest moves. The students will enjoy the benefits of combinations and routines that radiate ‘style and flava’ . We pay careful attention to costume, music and movement choices while maintaining the excitement of this cutting edge dance style.

Boys/Male Breakdancing
This class is suitable for those trying out Breakdancing for the first time and will also challenge those with more experience! The males will build strength and technique in this incredible form of Dance while learning the spectacular tricks 'breakers' demonstrate in a fun and positive environment.

Pilates Mat Classes - Download PDF
Pilates is a popular approach to exercise widely used today! Whether you are an elite athlete/performer, unfit or injured, the Pilates classes are tailored to your needs. Mat classes take place on the floor using comfortable exercise mats incorporating theraband and Swiss balls. These classes are taught by Physiotherapist and qualified Pilates instructor Andrew Pilcher. Woman and men are welcome! Private Health Rebates may apply, please ask your health fund.
